It wasn't that Lester was bothered by Dane's predilection towards nudity.
In fact, the exact opposite was true. Being greeted by the sight of Dane's firm, round arse as the young man lounged on the floor, reading a book or listening to music, never failed to perk Lester up after a hard day at the ARC.
Lester also understood the soldier's assertions that he felt like a caged animal when clothed.
However, the cleaning lady hadn't appreciated the explanation and so, to his own (and Dane's) disappointment, Lester had had to institute a “clothes on from 8 to 5pm” policy.
