Nick found Dane camped out in front of the fireplace, stark naked and lying on his stomach, reading a book. His lover was a bit of a bookworm, the majority of the books in their flat that didn't have to do with dinosaurs, evolution or ecology, belonged to Dane, and it was a trait Nick appreciated. Nick also appreciated the fact Dane tended to run around without clothes on as much as possible, though, he'd never let Dane know that.

“Don't y'ever wear clothes?” he asked, poking at one round buttock with his big toe.

“Nope,” Dane replied absently, turning a page. “Scared of 'em. I've been diagnosed and everything.”

“I've never heard of anyone being frightened of clothes before,” Nick scoffed, pulling off the towel he'd wrapped around his waist after his shower and tossing it onto the sofa. Planting a foot on either side of Dane, Nick sank down until he was seated on the soldier's strong thighs and reached up to tease the curls at the nape of Dane's neck with his fingers. “I think you're making that up.”

“M'not. Vestiphobia,” Dane replied. “Google that shit. It exists. Hmm... feels good.”

“Yes, it does,” Nick said, sliding his hand down the ridge of Dane's spine as his dick began to stir in mutual agreement. “What ya readin' tonight?”

“Gay Kama Sutra.”

Nick gave a startled laugh and leaned forward, resting his chin on Dane's shoulder so he could see the page Dane was looking at.

“So I see. You fancy trying that position?”

Dane turned his head and grinned at Nick, cornflower blue eyes crinkling at the corners.

“I don't think we have enough limbs for that one. I counted at least six hands. But I'm game if you are.”

“Oh, I'm game,” Nick replied as he lifted up enough for Dane to maneuver himself onto his back. “But if I sprain something, you get to explain it to Ditzy.”
